Prawira Oka- In Class Revision Exercise

From all the writing projects I have completed thus far for this writing class, I feel that the first paper was my weakest paper. The text- based paper I did, was based on the research question, “Should the US Government Increase Funding for Genetic Research?” The first change I plan to make is to introduce the sources I use throughout the paper more effectively. Without first introducing to the reader, the source used to support my argument, the reader may experience confusion. The next change I plan to implement is to modify the format of my paper to more closely follow the MLA format, as was required for the project. This will be especially difficult for me because as a science major, I am used to adhering to the APA style of formatting when constructing my lab reports.

Through these improvements, I hope that my paper will not only display an increased level of clarity and focus but also provide the reader with an interesting paper that they will enjoy.
