Alex Fredrickson_In-class Revision Essay

My first paper for this class is the one I need to work on the most. The paper was written as a “pro-capital punishment” piece with three main points related to why Denver needs to keep capital punishment around. I need to spend more time disproving the claims of the opponents of capital punishment and working on my sources in order to make them more academic. The structure of the paper could also use some work. The organization of the paper currently does not follow a logical thought process and organizing it as such would make the paper much easier to follow and would also make it more convincing. Also, I should be more discerning of how much of a quote I use. I used very large quotes in my essay which sometimes stray a little off topic. I think if I paraphrased more, I could utilize the information given in the quote more clearly while at the same time excluding all of the things the reader shouldn't care about.
