1. There are still some missing grades. I have asked people to send papers in to me if you do not have a grade for it. You won’t be able to get any feedback for revision if you do not send in the papers. Further, you will not get any credit for the 10% that each individual paper represents.
2. In-class work. I’m giving everyone a bonus day of in-class work. Think of it as extra credit.
3. Google Maps: Did some groups embed the map more than once? If so, please remove one of them. You should only have one map on the blog. You do not need to re-embed the map if you make changes to the Map. The changes will be reflected in the blog without you re-embedding.
4. Revision exercises.
a. Brief look at my C&W example. Stages of revision.
b. “Revision Exercises for Final Drafts”. In-class writing for today. Choose one of the main bullets on the list (“Thesis/Main Claim” or “Analysis”). Examine one of your projects that you would like to revise. How might you revise your project with either of those main bullets in mind? Write up approximately 150 words and post to the blog. Please label your posting with “sec xx”, (replacing “xx” with your section number).
5. Read 2 sample portfolio introductions for Wednesday’s class. They are on the blog. Click on the “Example” label on the left for you to download them.
6. Process note for group project due by start of class on Wednesday. Please follow the proper filename requirements when sending in the note.
7. Course evaluations.
1. Make sure all students will have access to a computer the day the evaluation process will take place in class.
2. Have students log into webCentral (http://webcentral.du.edu). They will need their DU ID and Passcode in order to do this.
3. Have students click on the Courses tab.
4. Have students click on the gray button labeled Fill out evaluations in the upper right corner.
5. Have students click on the button labeled Online Evaluation next to the course they are evaluating.
6. Have students complete the form and submit. Upon submitting, students will be taken to a page that confirms successful submission of the evaluation.
