Lupe Fiasco
The artist, Lupe Fiasco, does an excellent job of describing his creative process to his audience. The importance of his description is that it aids me with my own revision process. When Lupe talks about the lawyer situation, I related to my own writing in the sense that all of my work needs to be verified before I turn it in. Though he doesn’t completely recognize it, I see the importance of verifying information before it is published. Another thing Lupe talks about is how a person writes in terms of speed and creativity. This relates to me because sometimes my revisions are done in haste. This hinders the growth of the paper and possible changes that could be made.

Tim Burton
The filmmaker, Tim Burton, uses this piece to describe how he creates such vivid and eye-pleasing characters. He talks about how his interpretation of the modern world helped his to shape such unique characters. The way Burton talks about his creative process definitely aid me in my own writing. He discusses how he does not sit down and try to draw a character in one day that he takes his time when creating these characters. This can be applied to me because, as previously mentioned, I complete a lot of work in haste. Maybe I could benefit from slowing my process down and revising more overall.

T.C. Boyle
The author, T.C. Boyle, gives an interesting perspective on how he comes up with some of his pieces. He talks for the majority, about the differences in technology. He explains that what used to be done, more manually, has now become a world of keyboard and mouses. What he contributes to my writing is he utilizes the technology to the best of his ability. I could gain help from utilizing technology more. Especially, with the revision process, the internet allows you to contact or uncover on your own, the flaws in your paper. I think this would help my writing in the sense that I would have less clerical mistakes and be able to focus on the message of the paper, which is also aided by the internet.
