1. Blog: if you don’t already have one, please set up a Google account. You do not need to set up a Gmail account, but it may facilitate the process.
2. Assignment #1 is on Blog.
3. Discuss RLW (p. 85 of .pdf). Write up your answers as your first blog post.
4. In groups of 2 – 3 people, examine similar stories in the Westword “Daily Blogs” and The Denver Post. Apply the discussion questions from p. 85 of RLW.
5. Individually, look through the sources from #4 above and decide on at least three local topics that you would like to research for the first paper. Please be ready to begin finding sources during our library orientation next week.
